i read this meme over at Two Lazy Dogsand thought since i’m struggling with writer’s block dagnabbits i would do it myself.
i’m not much of a meme-er, believe it or not, because i think i’m boring. But i’ll give it a whirl. i haven’t done one in a while. So here goes nuffins:
1. Last movie you saw in a theater?
Horton Hears a Who. i’m not much for the movie theater. i would however like to recommend 3 good movies we’ve rented recently: Persepolis, Be Kind Rewind, Lars and the Real Girl. Check them out. Or don’t. i’m not the boss of you.
2. What book are you reading?
i am currently reading ‘Girls in Pants’ by Ann Brashares. Then i’ll be off in ‘Good Bones and Simple Murders’ by my favorite author, Margaret Atwood.
3. Favorite board game?
Scrabble, although i prefer card games- rummy, spike the malice, solitaire, uno and so on like that.
4. Favorite magazine(s)?
i don’t read magazines.
5. Favorite smells?
Orange blossom, gasoline, dying irises, Wagner Creek, baby, new car, sandalwood, coffee brewing.
6. Favorite sounds?
R’s sleep breathing, Cait’s giggle, Reneé’s reading voice, rain against the window, wind through trees, sizzling, silence.
7. Worst feeling in the world?
It’s a toss up between boredom and frustration.
8. What is the first thing you think of when you wake up?
“Can i fall back to sleep?” The answer’s always a resounding YES!
9. Favorite fast food place?
Gosh, i don’t know. Any place with good fries i guess. Now that there’s a Sonic around, we go once in a great while and the novelty of it is fun.
10. Future child’s name?
Nope. i can’t…
Uterus closed indefinitely.
11. Finish this statement. “If I had a lot of money I’d….?
…have a lot of money.
Okay, for real. If we’re talking lottery money, i’d donate money to my church back home as well as charitable organizations that aided children in need, pay off all our debts, buy a house and some horses, set up trusts for the shawties, give money to the moms and sisters and travel.
12. Do you sleep with a stuffed animal?
My husband. No, just kidding, boo! No stuffed animals.
13. Storms – cool or scary?
Definitely cool.
14. Favorite juice?
Coffee because isn’t coffee just coffee bean juice?
15. Finish this statement, “If I had the spare time I would….”?
…worry about how i got all this spare time; wonder what i’m not doing because i’ve forgotten that i’m supposed to be doing it and now i’ve got all this time to fill.
16. Do you eat the stems on broccoli?
Waste not, want not.
17. If you could dye your hair any color, what would be your choice?
Yeah, no. My hair is pretty colors from the sun. And i welcome each new gray hair. i earned those!
18. Name all the different cities/towns you’ve lived in?
Never-Never Land, A land far, far away, La-la Land, under a rock and in a cave.
19. Favorite sports to watch?
No. i won’t. i will not.
20. One nice thing about the person who sent this to you?
It wasn’t exactly sent, but i picked it up at Two Lazy Dogs. So i’ll say that the author of the blog has a big, nice looking eye. 
21. What’s under your bed?
The floor.
22. Would you like to be born as yourself again?
Gawd no. It sucked the first time why’d i want to do it again?
When i’m gone i’m gone for good. That’s the reward- Rest! Peace!
23. Morning person, or night owl?
Just be glad i’m awake at all!
24. Over easy or sunny side up?
Eggs are evil. They kick my stomach’s butt.
25. Favorite place to relax?
My room. It’s a nice place. Or my mom’s back patio with my sisters.
26. Favorite pie?
i swear, i’m not trying to be difficult, but i’m not really into pie. i do, however, like cake and my favorite is just yellow cake with chocolate frosting.
27. Favorite ice cream flavor?
That’s like asking me to pick a favorite child. But i’ll put my most favorites:
pistachio
jamocha almond fudge
green tea

I thought your answer to #8 (the first thought of the morning question) was PROFOUND. It’s so true, the first thing everyone thinks of, but you’re the first and only person I’ve seen who has pointed this out.
i am a sleeper.
i love my sleep and will grab as much as i can.
And i can sleep, get up & drink coffee and smoke than go right back to bed and fall asleep instantly.
i can sleep anywhere at anytime, as long as i’ve got a pillow.

LOL! I have a brother in law who does that. If he wakes up during the night he smokes a cigarette and then goes back to sleep. I have the worst time falling asleep because I’m listening to my children.

I can do the same thing, get up and drink a few cups of coffee and smoke some cigarettes then fall back asleep with no problem. It’s falling asleep at night where I run into the problem.
There are times, but they are few, when i have trouble falling alseep at night, like during “that time” or when we’ve just paid bills or when my husband is working.

Coffee most certainly is juice – wake up juice, right? I’ve lived in wonderland and lala land and perhaps that’s where we met? Once you’re gone, you’re gone? No reincarnation and coming back to do it up right? Bummer, I’ll miss but I’ll tell stories to the children of a spirit named chica christine.
Got some very good laughs and found yet again, things we seem to share affection for.

My Mom is always asking if i will have more children and i’m like do i look CRAZY?!
i love my girls with all of my heart but they are a’plenty of work, just them.
Plus, i’m not trying to have kids at home for the whole rest of my life.
As it is, R&i will still be young enough to kick it up, you know?
i’d like to add that you are a good writer with solid humor, thoughtfulness and excellent spelling.

eggs are evil and you don’t like pie? oh dear – not even cherry pie with iced cream? personally, i find chicken evil – but i don’t mind eating their young. funny about that, isn’t it? i liked this because we got to know some of you.

The only times i could eat eggs, after age ten, was when i was heavy with child.
Other than that, eggs and my stomach are not friends.
i like omelets and fried egg sandwiches, scrambles eggs and grits, but alas, i cannot eat them.
Sometimes i try just a few nibbles and my stomach will be in agony for the rest of the day!
And i do like pie- especially apple pie with melted cheddar and ice cream, but i don’t really ever feel like pie. i think i’ve baked about 5 pies in my life.
We eat so much chicken! i get kind of tired of it but you know, it’s food and i can’t really complain to be eating. However, i will not eat chicken on the bone. i’ve never ever liked chicken on the bone and i will not eat it.
i won’t.
